Former First Lady Michelle Obama has emerged as a potential replacement for President Joe Biden as the Democratic Party’s nominee for the 2024 presidential election, according to a betting company. Concerns about Biden’s health and recent gaffes have prompted speculation about possible candidates to replace him.
Betfair, the betting company, predicts a 69 percent chance of Biden securing the Democratic Party’s nomination, with Obama having an 11 percent chance of replacing him. Other potential candidates, such as California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and former First Lady Hillary Clinton, follow in that order. Vice President Kamala Harris has a significantly lower chance at 6.3 percent.
At CPAC, right-wing figures warned the audience that Democrats are hatching a nefarious scheme to oust a “senile” Joe Biden in favor of installing former Lady Michelle Obama as the party’s presidential nominee this summer.

In January of this year, Obama admitted she is “terrified about what could possibly happen” in the next election during an appearance on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast. Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy believes that Democrats will push her to replace Biden, whether she likes it or not, because she doesn’t have any choice in the matter.
Ramaswamy believes that the Democratic Party will choose the candidate that best sidesteps their “Harris problem” while maximizing their odds of a short-term stint that rushes their puppet over the finish line. He suggests that if he had to pick today, he thinks Michelle Obama would be the chosen candidate.
As the race for the Democratic Party’s nominee for the 2024 presidential election heats up, the potential replacement of President Biden remains uncertain. While Michelle Obama has emerged as a potential candidate, only time will tell who will ultimately secure the nomination.
