VIDEO: “Flash Mob Looters Ransack Nordstroms” City’s Descent into Lawlessness!

A high-end Nordstrom store in Los Angeles was mercilessly attacked by a criminal mob of more than 30 thieves on Saturday, showcasing yet again the city’s descent into lawlessness. These hooded vandals made away with nearly $100,000 worth of luxury handbags and clothes, exposing the city’s glaring lack of security and order.

The Los Angeles Police Department, struggling to keep up with the escalating crime, confirmed that these “criminals” raided the store around 4 p.m. Surveillance video captured the chaos, showing 30 to 50 individuals, their faces hidden beneath hoods, plundering the department store. They stormed the entrance, grabbing everything in sight, and even stumbled over racks to which merchandise was still attached.

Police estimate the stolen goods to be worth a staggering $60,000 to $100,000, yet another hit to a city reeling from a pandemic and a spike in criminal activities.

FOX 11 in Los Angeles reported the alarming detail that the mall was not even evacuated during this brazen heist, though one innocent bystander who was attacked with bear repellent required medical treatment.

This incident marks the second “flash mob” robbery to have terrorized Los Angeles County within a mere week. On August 8th, a mob was caught on camera fleeing an Yves Saint Laurent store in Glendale, California, during broad daylight. Their haul? A jaw-dropping $300,000 worth of merchandise.

These thugs, clearly well-coordinated, swiftly fled the Nordstrom scene in waiting vehicles, no doubt emboldened by a city that seems unable or unwilling to stop them.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, forced to acknowledge this shameful episode, issued a statement decrying the incident. “What happened today at the Nordstrom in the Topanga Mall is absolutely unacceptable,” she declared. Yet, words ring hollow when they’re not backed by action.

She further promised that “The Los Angeles Police Department will continue to not only find those responsible for this incident but to prevent these attacks on retailers from happening in the future.” But this raises the question: Where have the leaders been all this time?

California, like many liberal-run states, has experienced a surge in audacious smash-and-grab robberies in recent years, a trend exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic. This latest incident is not merely a theft; it’s a symptom of a deeper societal illness – a city plagued by crime, crippled law enforcement, and politicians who seem to have lost control.

Citizens and business owners alike must now wonder what’s next for Los Angeles, a city once celebrated for its glamour and success but now tarnished by the growing shadow of chaos and lawlessness.
