Despite leading slightly in the polls over President Joe Biden, Trump trails in overall campaign funds. According to a report by The New York Times, the Biden-Harris campaign has amassed a war chest of $192 million, which starkly contrasts with the $93 million reported by Trump’s team.
Trump’s visit to Atlanta underscores his efforts to appeal to more voters, particularly capitalizing on the dissatisfaction some voters feel towards the Biden administration’s policies, which are seen as excessively pro-migrant. These policies, Trump’s campaign argues, come at the detriment of communities that have traditionally supported the Democratic party, including Black voters.
