New Biden Appointed Head of CDC: Pushing Fear or Science?

In the latest revelation from our overlords at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the newly minted Director, Dr. Mandy Cohen, has heralded the likely advent of annual COVID vaccines, closely mirroring flu shot patterns. This pronouncement, however, has ruffled feathers amongst critics, who reminded us they had been ousted from social media platforms for making the same prediction a couple of years ago.

Fresh to her role as CDC director this month, Cohen sat down with Spectrum News, laying down her predictions for the COVID vaccine landscape. “We anticipate that COVID will become similar to flu shots, where it is going to be you get your annual flu shot, and you get your annual COVID shot,” she stated ominously, cautioning that we’re still on the cusp of that reality.

Critics were quick to respond, with one Twitter user recalling how he had been shown the door by the social media giant in 2021 for daring to make the same forecast.

As North Carolina’s top health official, Cohen was a zealous advocate for strict COVID restrictions. Evidently, the concept of Americans under lockdown seemed to tickle her:

She also relentlessly echoed the debunked claim that COVID vaccines can entirely stop transmission and infection.

Big pharma, meanwhile, appears to be rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of annual COVID shots. The heads of both Pfizer and Moderna have been enthusiastically championing the idea as their profit margins continue to soar.

Just last year, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices greenlit adding COVID-19 shots to the recommended vaccine schedule for children, even though there’s zero concrete evidence indicating these shots significantly curtail transmission, hospitalization, or deaths in the young.
